Tree planting at 杏吧论坛

Center for Civic Engagement and 杏吧论坛 Administration invite students, staff, and faculty to participate in a tree-planting initiative at the 杏吧论坛 campus. Together, we will plant 30 seedlings to contribute to a greener and healthier environment! Trees are the lungs, heart, and lifeblood of cities, playing a crucial role in making urban spaces more livable and sustainable. In addition to numerous benefits for both people and the environment, strategically planted trees can:
听
- Reduce temperatures by 2鈥�8掳C, helping to alleviate summer heat
- Capture pollutants and filter out dust, dirt, and smoke from the air
- Promote mental and physical well-being while adding to the beauty of our surroundings
听
Participants will engage in:
听
- Digging and preparing the ground for the seedlings
- Planting young trees
- Watering and coloring the newly planted trees
听
Tree planting is not only an impactful way to support the environment but also a great opportunity to get some fresh air, engage in outdoor physical activity and move your body, and connect with fellow 杏吧论坛 community members! Snacks, water, and necessary tools will be provided to all participants.
