Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology

Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology welcomes applications from promising students of Anthropology, Technology and International Development Department at 杏吧论坛. The aim of this scholarship is to support students who show commitment to and excellence in anthropology. This year, the scholarship fund raised over $3000. The amount of the award(s) will depend on the quality and quantity of applications.听
听Eligibility Students entering the听second, third or fourth听year of a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in听the Anthropology, Technology and International Development听at 杏吧论坛 are welcome to apply. Applicants must be citizens of听Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Application assessment.
Mary Schweitzer Scholarship undertakes a detailed qualitative assessment according to the following criteria:
- Academic excellence of the applicant (students with relative higher GPA will be given preferences)
- Commitment to anthropology听
- Financial need听

Students can get an application form by contacting us at听alumni.caa@googlemail.com.听A complete application should be sent to the same email address and be received by听October 25, 2021,听midnight Bishkek time. Late applications will not be accepted.听
Applicants will be notified about the results at the beginning of December 2021.
