ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ meets USAID delegation

On Monday, February 11, Nora Madrigal, Health and Education Office Director (USAID/Kyrgyz Republic), and Andrew Colburn, Regional Education Officer (USAID/Central Asia) met with ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Vice President, Chingiz Shamshiev, and staff to discuss current and future university activities.

The visit started with the campus tour after which Mr. Shamshiev and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Administration presented to guests the educational system of the university and future plans. Also, during the meeting, participants discussed strategic ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ projects.

Since September 2016, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ has been implementing USAID Building the Future project which provides the unique opportunity for outstanding students from all regions of Kyrgyzstan for obtaining a quality higher education at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, enhances the research capacity of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ faculty and students, and facilitates accreditation of the Business Administration program of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳.Ìý
